Objects in Nature

Throughout this photoshoot of objects within nature, I learnt about positioning of objects. I learnt to position the objects in comparison to the light and make sure there was influence of nature to bring an airy, playful feeling to the to overall photo. The accessories stand out within the force of nature yet seem to signify solid purposes. The colours of the accessories blend in with the surroundings. The inspiration behind this shoot was seeing advertisements for objects such as perfumes advertised in nature scenery. Although I know this happens through a set, I thought why not bring that vision to life?

I took this photo because the green of the high heels matched the nature behind. The cube box makes the heels stand out as the box is man made and isn't a part of the natural life. The orange flowers behind and the light shimmering through the trees brings light to both the bakckground and subject.

Although both images look similar, changes were made to make this photo more appealing to the eye. The photo was straightened so that the white box was horizontally even to the nature in the back. The nature was darkened but the light shining through the trees was kept the same and the orange flower is more bright and obvious than the original photo shows. To exceed these changes, highlights, brightness, contrast and the black points was increased whilst the brilliance, exposure and shadows were decreased.

iPhone

I originally took this photo on the DSLR camera and wanted to compare when taken on an iPhone. I chose to place the ring on these bricks as it is surrounded by nature. Not only in the bushes next to it but the moss cornering each brick grounds the ring and shows its connection to nature. This ring was chosen to use because of the vine of leaves it has made itself, already a part of nature through jewellery.

The angle of the camera was placed directly eye level on to the pavement, accentuating the depth of the path, seeming as if it goes on forever.

Vision

This photo was taken on an iPhone X. The reason for this photo was to connect the earrings to nature. Clearly the earrings are physically connected to the tree but it can be seen that the light seeping through the leaves of the trees takes on hexagonal shapes just like those holes represent in the earrings.. The green and red work together to stand out and bring life to the earrings.
